Since childhood, Quinn Caya felt called to reduce suffering in the lives of others which lead him into natural medicine and the healing professions. 

Caya has been studying and practicing natural medicine, meditation and the movement arts for most of his life. A preventative medicine practitioner, Quinn’s core focus is promoting vitality and optimal living in the lives of his patients. Caya specializes in chronic & difficult conditions, drug-free pain solutions (low back and knee pain especially), orthopedics, athletic performance, trauma recovery, psycho-emotional disorders, allergies and immune system modulation, digestive health, and men’s health. Caya’s practical, empathetic approach to patient care is informed by his personal experience in natural living and embodiment practices as pathways of personal transformation and healing.

Caya is a Licensed Acupuncturist (LAc.) and Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in the State of New York. He earned yoga teacher certification from Open Sky Yoga, holds Yoga Alliance RYT-500 status and C-IAYT Certification through the International Association of Yoga Therapists. He holds a Master’s of Science Degree in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (MSAOM) from Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (FLSAOM). There, he studied acupuncture & moxibustion, cupping & gua sha, tui na (Chinese medical massage), Chinese herbal medicine, taiji, qigong, eastern dietary therapy, western biomedicine and completed clinical rotations. He holds a Bachelors Degree of Professional Studies (BPS) from New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) and an Associates Degree of Applied Science (AAS) in Medical Massage Therapy from Trocaire College.

During his formative, years Caya lived in an intentional community dedicated to meditation, yoga and natural living. This made an impact on his life. He developed an interest in the therapeutic significance of food and herbs in his teens, around when he began practicing martial arts and qigong. This enabled him to overcome health challenges he encountered naturally and without pharmaceuticals. Caya eventually began teaching yoga, qigong, martial arts and became a Reiki practitioner. He co-founded a yoga and martial arts center in his early twenties before pursuing further study in yoga asana & pranayama, and degrees in neuro-fascial therapy, biomechanical therapies, acupuncture and East Asian medicine. Caya has lead courses and seminars in universities, public schools, wellness centers and has clinical experience working within hospitals and other healthcare facilities.

In 2016, Caya visited the Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Hangzhou, China and was inspired by the modern applications of Chinese and Western Medicine in the hospital setting prevalent there.
