Quinn Caya is committed to professionalism and integrity in his clinical practice. Since his youth, he has known his life's purpose and calling is to reduce suffering in the world which drew him into the healing professions.

Mr. Caya is licensed to practice acupuncture and therapeutic massage in the State of New York. He earned a master's of science degree in acupuncture & oriental medicine and a second master's of science in Chinese herbal medicine from the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (FLSAOM). There, he studied acupuncture & moxibustion, cupping & gua sha, tui na (Chinese medical massage), Chinese herbal medicine, taijiquan, qigong, eastern dietary therapy, western biomedicine and completed clinical internship rotations. In 2016, Caya visited the Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hangzhou, China for additional exposure to modern trends in Chinese Medicine patient care. He holds a bachelors of professional studies (BPS) from New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) and an Associates of Applied Science (AAS) in Medical Massage Therapy from Trocaire College.  He has earned several yoga teaching certifications from Open Sky Yoga, holds Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500) status through Yoga Alliance and Yoga Therapist Certification (C-IAYT) through the International Association of Yoga Therapists. 

As a clinician, Caya serves individuals from all walks of life. He also considers his relationship with the LGBTQ community to be of great importance as a representative of the allied health professions. He has interest in musculoskeletal disorders, pain management (especially back pain), trauma recovery, rehabilitation, athletic performance, mens health and mens reproductive health concerns, digestive health and general health and wellness. 

Caya's lifelong immersion in natural living, yoga, qigong and martial arts informs a practical, empathetic approach to patient care. Residence at Kripalu Yoga Ashram through his formative years had a profound impact on his life. He began teaching yoga, qigong and practicing reiki in 2003. In his teens he began training in qigong and martial arts (gong-fu, and then on to kuntao silat, taijiquan, baguazhang and systema in adulthood). In 2004, he established Sun Moon Yoga & Martial Arts and then Yoga Therapeutics in 2006.

Caya has taught courses and seminars in colleges, public schools, yoga studios and wellness centers. He played a leading role in establishing the Universal Yoga Program at the University at Buffalo. Quinn has had the honor of teaching yoga courses at the Pride Center of WNY. He has also worked in health care facilities, including Roswell Park Cancer Institute, WNY Pulmonary Center, Rochester Health Center and the Canandaigua Veterans Hospital.
